well i've been getting spam onslaughts on someof my sites, had to disable comments, was getting 500 a day at one point, and had to individually delete, no bulk feature D-:

extensions?

exclusively .de & .com spammers

I would say the main reason that scammers use .cn and .info names are because of the cheap registration fees for the first year. The article says that 5% of .com sites and 11.7% of .info sites are scams (both seem too high to me). Considering that .info and .cn are around 1/7th the price, I think that only twice as many scammers is not too bad. :p

I have to admit that one of the guy I know, has infact registered 100 .infos to open spam blogs :'(

Well his idea is not working though but still it isn't good.

Only for the first year. That's how they get you.

It does not matter whether it is only the 1st year or not. Spammers are purchasing the domain for the long haul they expect to lose them soon enough anyway.

You misunderstood. I was saying that is how the .info registry gets you. :hehe:
