Lots of life in this gtld, yet there is no general .INFO thread. Therefore I am starting one as of now!

Looked at the sales over the last couple months: https://namebio.com/?s=gN2YzN4UzM

3L, 3N, 4N, random one word and large domains are selling across many different auction houses which is a good thing.

I personally know of 5-6 NNNN deals that were done via PM for high XXX.

5N should be next.

Were they were words or random letters? Nampros auctions are interesting in my opinion, granted Im assuming the aforementioned were done via pm. But, you get a bit more visibility for basically no fees, and the added bonus that some investors, at least those starting out, tend to put in all their marbles in np auctions, opposed to exploring greener pastures elsewhere.

I think 5 could be good but 1000% risk

Side note
It's worth buying the Whois report for 3n and 4n first to see what county the domains are in
For .info big shift to China for numbers in last 3 months
This is how I decide if vertical makes sense

China is 1000% buying the NNN and NNNN

The letters I have not checked as it will be very expensive to check

The way I see it, if 3N.info can get high XXX, maybe low XXXX for 88N, then 4N.info should be worth 10% of that because there's 10 times as much inventory and then use the same metrics for 5N.info.

PS: The Godaddy sale is over, so prices are up again. I heard there are some other discount sites right now, but the $1 sales don't last forever, hence why I loaded up the shopping cart.

haven't looked at sales figures on .info's in a long while apparently lol. I'm sure I once owned some of those random 3 letter ones. I don't want to put my foot in my mouth so I won't go into the specifics lol, but I used to have a lot of 19NN.info (dates) and just about all the 20NN (from present to past). Scary.info I'm nearly 100% sure I once owned...actually I am 100% sure....and ipay.info. Only looking at the front page. Not sure why I'd buy an iLLL(+/-).info lol...even one like that. But I'm pretty sure I did. Idk...looks like some churning and burning; lower dollar sales. The printers.info sale via Flippa (federer). You, me, or the guy/gal next to you wouldn't hands down be able to sell it for that much on flippa. Sales like that, are outlier's to the general market/aftermarket.

There's no formula for numerics brother. Pricing is number and pattern based. I've personally sold 4n between $75- mid xxx. (I know of high xxx 4n.info sales) And 5n from $30- high xx.

Example: There are multiple GD closed auctions for numeric AAAB.Infos for $400 +\- ...... So should numeric AAB.info be $400 X 10= $4k ??

Even in com the formula is skewed and cannot account for premium numbers and patterns. IMHO, premium patterns and numbers will always get premium prices.

I'm an idiot. I do that all the time (mixing N's and L's). Reading it how I wanted to I guess haha. Thanks for that and the info too. That kind of diced up my original question a bit.

6766.info sold for $206 USD @ godaddy recently ...... We can't predict the 5N.info after 3-4 months.
