All these companies when they close will leave many people unemployed :xf.frown:
It is said that in 2030 50% of the conventional jobs that exist today will have disappeared. Are we prepared for this?
What do you think about this?

Bank vs Crypto

Crypto not so popular among many people. And also have witnessed a considerable downturn in the number of investors.

It may not be a success story for crypto.

Universal basic income. No other way!

I am optimistic. The future will be better in terms of economic activities of individuals and equality. People will work less or don't work at all. Producing services and goods for most common needs such as food, shelter, clothes, education, health, law, entertainment, security, transportation, etc. will be cheaper and taxes will be lower. Hence people will have more purchasing power even with lower income, except the people who are addicted to buy anything "latest technology or latest version". As long as you are comfortable using 10 years old electronic gadgets, the future should not weaken your financials.

no other way? Not necessarily against the concept - but where do imagine the money comes from to "pay" people? If everyone is collecting benefits how does the account get replenished?

Governments will tax companies as before and pay basic income to each citizen probably including working people. In fact it can be done now and it has been already done under different names like social aids, unemployment salary, etc. People will not have any paper work or condition to fulfill to receive basic income. This is the main difference between basic income and traditional social payments.

Will never happen. Paying people to do nothing means they will do nothing. Which societies are responsible for most innovations today? Those deeply rooted in capitalism.

I do not want to be driven anywhere by a driverless car, how boring.

In Indiana, one of the largest energy companies just got permission from the government to raise their prices so they can invest in solar and wind power. So, the government is essentially forcing citizens to pay for electric company's investment in solar and wind power. So, they will always dominate, as long as their assets are given to them for free. Solar power out of your house is awesome, that will be a benefit, but the masses in general will never have the room and money to make the initial investment.

Basic income will be proposed by companies. Because after a point companies can't find enough number of buyers with money. Imagine a country with 50, 60, 80, 95% unemployment. This will collapse the global economy and will lead to bankruptcies of companies for lack of enough demand.
@nononsense123 is correct. There is no other way.

1.
2. Watch Andrew Yang podcast with Joe Rogan or interview with Ben Shapiro (If such a capitalist like Shapiro becomes a fan of Yang, you can presume there will be some sound arguments there from a capitalistic standpoint.
3. It's been proven that ubi increases entrepreneurship. People work more and take more risks. Understand that human greed is limitless(which is good). Just coz you get $500 per month you aren't going to stop working. Your ambitions keep driving you forward.
4. Primarily the money will come from the already extremely inefficient govt schemes with huge dumb bureaucracies.

What is also not mentioned is, those who will lose employment won't have any other occupation to go to, so some sort of universal system may be required for certain groups of people than others who have more than two skills.

It won't be $500 a month, it will be more, and more, and more, with no actual decrease in red tape. Governments do not shrink and become efficient voluntarily, that is one of the main reasons there were so many hands raised against Trump, he demanded accountability, common sense, and efficiency. Socialist and communist governmental systems are even less efficient than capitalist based ones.
