Never regged a .in before and i was wondering of the value. Are 3 letter names valuable?

Feels good to see people having optimistic vision for the .in domain and for the country as well.
I totally agree that .IN is going to boom in coming future. Here govt. is planning to introduce broadband on a massive scale and economy is booming. With massive population and speedy growth of IT certainly backs your statements.

I've just sold Commodities.in for $3200; Sedo did the transfer/escrow transaction

Wow, that's a quite a nice sale as you already know. Really throws some confidence back into .IN for me though I am willing to sit on some.

Yes, cheapest .IN and best support from registrar, please...
www.Resellers.co.in
www.CheapDomains.co.in

Dave, they both have low prices and excellent support, and are owned by fellow NP members. I've used them both regularly, and can confidently recommend them.

would have been nice (I know that was a little random :P)
IAM.IN

Actually, that's one of our names! :)

We have already begun early stages of development plans - www.iam.in - with a nice original logo, and a cool little flash movie we had created by local NP designers. We are still tossing around ideas, looking at different scenarios, partners (etc.) We decided to use the IAM.IN acronym as - Internet Arts & Media, INDIA.

But I also still like the idea/slogan... IAM.IN, Are you? :p

Whatever we do with it, we've decided to make it homebase for our Indian properties.

Congrats binfus !.... So that is the highest sale by NPer till date right ? Anyone sold for higher?

Well yes and no. :)

It was in fact a .co.in with non disclosure on name and price so not really qualifying.

I have also recently turned down high $xxxx on two more .co.in names. Sold many in the high $xxx/ low $xxxx.

I only see a very bright future for India related domain names. :$:

But a great sale non the less by Binfus, well done. :$:

There are still loads of good 1 word names for grabs .IN .CO.IN .

As stated in earlier posts, lots of company's are outsourcing their work and business to India. As far as manufacturing goes IMO anything manufacturing related .IN .CO.IN will do well in the next few years.
