Hi guys,

I'm very new to the domaining so I would like to ask for some basic advice and tips for a beginner.

I have been reading lots of information about domaining here at Namepros and at other sites and I have decided that's it's the time to slowly start buying some domains.

My current "plan" is to start investing in LLLL.COM domains as they seem to be a good investment at the moment.

Any suggestions? What letters or combinations of letters should I be seeking? And what are reasonable prices for LLLL.COMs atm?

Thanks :)

:hi: Welcome ,

My suggestion would be to read as much as you can in the LLLL.com threads that you find here in the "Short Section", namely the LLLL.com Sales threads. By researching these you can find all kinds of valuable info on LLLL.com end-prices for different letter combinations and the other inquiries you have. I'll send you a PM to see if you want to read some other resources too.

Your current "plan" seems pretty sound since this may be the best time to buy llll.com but, just so you don't lose too much $$ at first from not-so-good deals, be sure to research research research beforehand until you get a decent grasp on the market..

research and learn as much as you can, always go for development in mind, unless the letter are obvious.

Just make sure you're focused on longer term returns as opposed to quick flips.

Welcome to the domaining world! NP is a great place to learn about LLLL market and others. Currently the best investment is in the LLLL market because the prices are low enough to take a risk. IMO the prices have hit the bottom and will soon rise. Also type in LLLL dot CN and you will all of the .cn are registered and are being used. So it would give you a potential tool to value the same LLLL dot com.

Also have development/parking etc in mind. I have many LLLL domain names and they are for long term investment (unless I am desperate for money!).

Bingo--

CASH FLOW is the number one priority I have. It is very important to think 2 or 3 years down the road if you are not in a hurry to develop.

i.e. Instead of buying 10 names-- buy 5 and renew them for another year or two right off the bat. It will give you time to learn without having to worry as much about CASH FLOW .

Enjoy and Prosper !!
