Hi there , just wondering , if you have 60$ and want to sell your domain ASAP for the highest possible price

would you invest in flippa auction for 9 $ + flippa featured home page for 49$

or
would you invest that in Sedo direct auction for the same price (59 just for the auction listing)
or
is there any other choices ?

I know that it depends on the domain etc, etc,,

but let's assume it's a 2 keywords .com for example , or let's speak generally (for other TLDs )

any advice

Thanks !

Not sure of the value of your domain, but I might go with GoDaddy auctions over flippa or sedo.

You can look at similar domain sales using Namebio or DNPric.es and the platforms used.

With the information you gave, thats the best i can tell you.

You might try selling for free here on NP.. That way you could sell for $60 less and come out the same.

actually I can't list it on goddady coz I don't have a bank account and they don't support paypal to withdrawal your money if you make a sale

I trired to list some domains here , got exactly 60$ offer , but I think my domains worth a lot more

so , sedo or flippa featured :D

Yes.

My choice would be to raise the budget a little bit, and buy one prerelease domain. Then wait.
Don't waste money to promote a regfee domain.

thx for your advice , you mean newTLDs pre-released domains like .shop or .ing ??

and i think it worth more than reg fee (for example I have Messenger.biz and Hungary.biz and according to Namebio turkey.biz was sold for around 800$ last week on sedo )

You may choose Flippa or Sedo, based on similar sales venue. Try NamePros Fixed Price section (nothing bad if a deal occurs without paying any fees).

Good luck.

Actually, NamePros is a good place for whole sale or bargain prices. You can give it a try. As, it doesn't cost.

My suggestion is that you post the name here on this thread so we have a better idea. Of course, you may have your reasons why you do not post it, but I guess that if you are trying to promote it, posting it might help you, since you are exposing it to potential buyers.

I have no problem at all , but I don't have just one name , I'm asking generally ,
to give you a good idea , here are some of my domains :

Messenger.biz ,8 year old
Hungary.biz
StudentCreditCard.net , 14 year old was sold for 2000 on sedo

SocialAdvertise.com , 5 year old
SmilingQuotes.com , 5 year old

I guess Sedo is better for .biz domain , not sure about that ,really need an advice coz their auction listing is kinda expensive for me , as I mentioned earlier here are some related sale :

messenger.ly 700 USD 2015-12-17 Flippa
messenger.ch 5,000 USD 2011-01-15 Sedo
messenger.me 999 USD 2010-12-02 Sedo
messenger.ch 7,050 USD 2008-10-07 Sedo
messenger.eu 2,700 USD 2007-11-06 DRT Auction
messenger.us 2,700 USD 2007-11-06 DRT Auction
messenger.mobi 1,450 USD 2006-10-24 Private
___________
turkey.biz 860 USD 2016-08-10 Sedo

bulgaria.biz 3,176 USD 2015-06-19 Sedo

losangeles.biz 559 USD 2016-04-30 GoDaddy
barcelona.biz 1,060 USD 2016-07-27 Sedo
portugal.biz 417 USD 2016-07-27 Sedo
lebanon.biz 119 USD 2016-07-26 Sedo

beijing.biz 3,398 USD 2015-10-16 Sedo

panama.biz 9,907 USD 2007-10-09 Sedo
europe.biz 6,450 USD 2010-08-25 Private
city.biz 898 USD 2015-10-20 NameJet
malta.biz 1,300 USD 2015-09-21 Sedo

as you can see all the cities and countries are selling very well on sedo , but I've never tried them
so what do you think ?

as far as I know not many ppl will buy dot biz! yeah, I buy dot biz, the reason simple because I am cheapskate :) so, if you spend money on flippa or any other auction site, selling dot biz, the chance is you'll not get a lot of profit! unless you have big luck factor :) , I could be wrong though,
its just my personal opinion, don't take it personally :)

fyi, don't sell domain to domainer, cause you'll get low ball offer :) and one more things, ppl that hang out on flippa most of the times are seos webmaster! :) you don't want to sell a domain to them! you'll get worse offer :), cause their mindset are different with most domainer :), they don't care about how short your domain, is! or how amazing you domain is! they only care about PA DA CF TF! but if you have veryveryuglynamewithlongsuffixandprefix.com but you have good metric, believe it or not they will beg and make decent offer :)

Whenever I sell a domain at Godaddy they always automatically put the money from the sale on my Paypal account (minus commissions). So they obviously support Paypal. The other options for Godaddy to pay you are "Check" and "Good as Gold".
