Are there any companies/individuals out there that specialize in assisting other individuals in selling their domains to end users for a contractual type commission? And if not, there should be, because I would be willing to pay for that service in a heartbeat. I see a lot of experienced domainers making some good deals, however this might be, with the right contract in place, another way for the "pros" to profit from their skills besides their own domain asset sales.I know brokers like Sedo, Godaddy assist in the selling of their domains, but they do not actually proactively search and find end users for those domains listed with them. Would love to hear some feedback on this and get an intelligent, meaningful conversation going about this.:P

Besides the BIG well know Brokers that have hand over fist buyers knocking down their doors to find viable domains to buy / bid on (E.G. Sedo, Godaddy, Flipa, Bido, etc.) it leaves you with the brokers that may or may not use more direct and questionable ethics tactics to get your name seen by a larger or more targeted group of potential buyers.

You have to be really careful not to fall prey to a fly by night email / post campaign broker that literally sends sales offers in bulk to multiple emails at once or even multiple forums at once. Remember, your names on the whois of that domain and anything done with it reflects on YOU!

I'm not saying there isn't any ethical smaller brokers out there, just that you need to do plenty of research prior to help keep your own name / image out of the mud.

There are actually some great Brokers that use ethical tactics & post your names in the proper areas (following platforms rules). You might even get a head start on researching by checking with a few brokers on NamePros found in the broker forum selling names on others behalf here: http://www.namepros.com/domain-brokerage/

Just try to be respectful when you contact them so your message isn't accidentally construed as spam. Most times the brokers in that forum are also active in 10 / 20 / 50+ other places working for that sales commission.

(Note: Not all domains are accepted by brokers, names actually have to have some value to be worth their time)

Just my opinion though, others may have some better and more targeted ideas for you.

Good Luck,

Eric Lyon

maybe the business idea should be a 'registration site for domain brokers' .....if they are registered at the site it is seen they are a good operator

That would be cool. kinda like verifying the brokers for the customers looking to sell the domains?

Find end users is great way to sell domain, I think the conversion rate is good, one way is to look for adwords publishers related to your keywords and email them if they are interested in your domain name.

There are a few known domain brokers, they are easy to find.
But if you don't have great names, they can't help you.
Exposure will not help if nobody wants your domains.
