I posted this thread about 4 days ago (http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/163933-whats-good-tactics-beating-guy-snapnames.html) asking people to give me some good snapnames tactics since that was the first time I was using it and I really wanted that domain

Good news was, only one person was up against me. My budget for the name was $500 :gn: so I decided to bid $526 and if he beat that then he can go ahead and have it. He was close to beating it and I was happy that I was dealing with someone who is probably nice and didn't try to press me to pay more (because I would have pay more if the bid was still around the $500 range and not $600) or even extend the auction time.

I am one happy puppy

Glad to hear your got your name. On a similar note, I got my first domain off of snapnames without having to bid anyone else up (I was the only person who backordered the domain).

In my case, I was suprised only one person was up against me since it was a great domain and someone else already registered the .net and .org and buydomains had the .org up for sale for 15 hundred.

For some reasons, things do not add up here.

In the other thread, you mentioned, you had .net for a while and regged .org few days ago for the same domain name and you want to have all the extenstions.

Now you say this. What is the name if it is one or names if they are different.

I noticed the same Gamehouse things don't match between the two threads.

Value's post
actually, I had the .net awhile ago and the .org was available about a week ago. I ended up getting the .org after I notice the .com status was pending delete so I was hoping I might be able to get all extensions.

the domain is worth ALOT more than $500 but $500 is my budget for it

Yeah - has anyone actually snagged a high value name from Snapnames for a "bargain" price? I feel that there are so many professionals/brokers all over that thing that its impossible to get a bargain.

I said that because I didn't want people to figure out what domain it was. Who knows, maybe the person who I was going against was also registered here and he might try to compete harder after seeing that I deperately needed that domain after seeing that thread.

Thats why I never mention the domain, who I was going against (btw it was halvetez or however you spell his name) and I didn't mention when the auction will end to protect the outcome of the auction since only god knows if that halvetez is registered on here

If you already won the name then you can share now, correct?

I was led to believe you already won the name... Are you still bidding on it? If so, you are jumping the gun on posting you go the domain.
