I won an auction on snapnames by placing the highest bid on time. It seems that the payment is also sent to snapnames. But i did not get an email from snapnames telling me the next steps. What should i do next? Why are they waiting? And when/how will i be able to transfer the domain to my godaddy account?

You can pay either by using the Credit Card you have on file or by using paypal. Once the auction is final and you have been awarded the domain, click on the PaymentCenter link from the menu bar and go from there.

The domain was caught at a registrar partner of Snap's already. The domain must remain registered there for 60 days. You will receive the information to manage it. After 60 days you can request a transfer to GoDaddy if you like.

I added a credit card to the system already. In fact for half an hour i was seeing a lik saying sth like "Payment in progress.." and later it disappeared. So i guess the payment is already sent. So will i wait for the info from them? How many days will i wait approximately?

You will get 2 emails within 24 hrs, one from snapnames confirming you paid and the other from the register with the password, you can then use it but as stated above its usually 60 days before you can transfer it to a new register (if you want to)

Shouldn't take long. Sometimes just a day or even faster. You can click on the MyAccount link in the menu and then choose the subcategory "Registration History" to see the status. From this page you will see the registrar that holds the domain for you as well as the link to manage it. You will also receive an email soon.

If it is a drop it is pretty fast. However I got one that had been renewed a month before (check the whois) I think it was a preferred partner name, a transfer. It showed that I won the name on the list of all my auctions, but I heard nothing for over two days. Finally I got an e-mail from Directnic saying they had it in a new account they opened for me. Not a good thing but it looks like it will work out - I hope.
