How is everyone doing? I am looking for a established person to possibly help me out I have a american express so I can invest $15,000 but I would need to pay that back by 30 days. what can I do to invest and make a return?

I am trying to start for step one again. I use to be a major hitter in the domain industry about 10 years ago.
I opened a business with a clothing line and it failed so I am looking to start something up again and have a partner.

Please feel free to contact me if your serious.

30 days is a small turn around time for a low risk investment... If you had more time Id recommend short .com domains and 5n and lower numerics for the surest/low risk investment.

However, with a 30 day window for a return... I'll let others chime in.

So let me get this straight.... you want guaranteed profit in 30 days?

I don't know what to tell you outside of becoming a drug dealer. Thirty days is not enough time to "invest" in domains if you need the money back in 30 days.

I don't need to gain a profit as long as I can pay back the $15,000 in 30 days.
Yes I know this seems like a very imaginable thought but thought I would give it a try and see if anyone has any ideas.
I've seen it done before in the past. I am just new again and things have changed in ten years

Maybe these questions can help others help you.

How many hours a day can you commit a day to this venture? Would buying hundreds of 6n.com or whatever niche and reselling on various platforms/forums be doable?

What are your areas of expertise, outside of domaining?

Will you yourself or hire someone be willing to reach out to endusers?

Are you expecting buyers to come to you? (That means premium domains only)

Have you been following the recent 4L buyouts in all extensions?

^^ Same for numerics?

Is it doable yes.... I just wouldn't want to be the one borrowing the money from the mob and have them visiting my home in 30 days. I like taking risks and chances for $15K in 30 days is beyond my area of expertise.

I wish you all the best and look forward to the day when my bankroll is that high for investing.

How about borrowing the $15K from your V/MC so you don't have to pay it back in 30 days....30 days is not investing, it's flipping.

Happy New Year!

Do not commit investment suicide - avoid all forms of get rich quick business.

Really bad idea. Domains for the most are not liquid and with the exception of parts of 2015 it is not grow-grow-grow. Even if everything would be liquid and market would grow by couple of % in a month, that would be eaten out by various fees.

You are setting yourself up for failure and you are sending a message to a vulture that you want to be lied to and taken your money away from.

I recommend you to only buy domains you can afford. If you really want to take a loan make sure you can pay it back with income that you already have (for example from your salary).

Obviously asking this kind of question would let speculators to tell you buy this and that.. You are lucky Np members are nicely responded to you without such. You should not to ask such questions in current market, you should just watch to make your own decision what to buy or sell.
Other than that, to answer your question, it is possible to make profit in 30 days by quick flipping but it includes HIGH RISK of loosing money too.. So, make your mind accordingly.

Joey--you're playing with fire. To try and expect to buy and resell something in 30 days for a profit, while of course possible is just a dumb idea...especially if using credit. Work your way up with hard earned money...not borrowed funds that could put you deeply in the hole with a few mistakes.

Don't start this business with borrowed money. Particularly a short term loan that you can't afford to pay on.

Set aside some money and start slowly.

If anyone could really answer your question, why would they? They would be borrowing tons of money and buying those names themselves.

Real Estate flipping I know...30 days is a major gamble in that industry unless you just fall into a once or twice in a lifetime deal. Even then a little black mold can cost you your quick profit.

As far as I am concerned (I lack the experience and expertise to even try) flipping domains can be tough unless you have done LOTS of research and know and/or have a buyer in sight.

Man...its making my ulcer hurt just thinking about it!

I'd say forget the domain name marketplaces. Go direct to domain owners and buy them out, then flip the name to the domain name marketplaces. Or you can catch a name and flip.

Another one I know of is with stock options/futures trading.

Both involve high risk.

Keep sending offers to really good names, the kind of offer that you think there is no chance he/she accept it. Sometimes they accept then you can flip it for some profit...
