Right, i want to change my google adsense login email, fine. Follow the steps on their website, email them. Get a reply saying i CANNOT use my gmail thats right (Google mail) email for my google adsense account.


Where is the sense in that?

I tried to change my email address a year ago from a hotmail address to a gmail address. I got almost the same reply.

It's like saying "Get a McDonalds Credit Card Today!" *Not Valid in McDonalds Stores

i tried the same thing the other week, i ended up reading through their help to find out you cant go from a gmail account to another gmail account :/ , at the time and now i cant see their reasoning behind it....

that funny, about a year ago, I switched to a gmail account just fine for my log in.

Maybe they have had a policy change since then, and you can't do it anymore. Is it possible that they don't allow free email accounts anymore ?

Odd - I use a gmail address with an adsense account. And it was changed from a hotmail one to a new gmail one. That was when gmail first popped onto the scene.

This may seem a bit obvious but have you tried using googlemail.com for your email rather than gmail.com? I ask this because I had a similar problem with another Google service and couldn't change email. Support said I had to use googlemail.com and not gmail.com. (Remember the whole tm issue on gmail etc etc.... that might be why)
