i sold 40 + premium.one domain for just 300 $ before 6 months of their expire, is it a profit or loss?
the domain names are below. I just want to know weather i had done a mistake or not , to avoid such kind of mistakes in future.

I had listed all these domain in flippa as portfolio, a person contacted through pm and offered me 100 $ for all these domains. i thought it is more worth than 100$ , so i refused his offer then he said good luck and went offline. the next day he contacted me again saying that these domains are not worth more than 100 $ & made me a offer for 200$ as final , i said sorry as it was lower than my reg fee."at that time i thought what he said, and came to a conclusion that these domains are not worth even for reg fee" . after few hours he contacted me again , he countered me with "301 $" i don't know what to do at that time and thought he must be right and accepted the offer.

I transferred all domains to his godaddy account.

After 3 days i had left with 4 .one domains , so i just left it for auction in NP(here) . i made 124 $ from just 4.one domains (each sold for 30$).
Now i saw the buyer is asking a minimum of 500+$ for each domain names below. and some are developed.
Was my decision at that time to sell the lot for 300 $ right or wrong?
If i was wrong, what would be the best price for this lot?

i have nothing to do by knowing this , but want to learn and avoid such things i future.
    please suggest your opinion friends.

    What was your purchase price?
    Normal renewal or premium renewal?

welll you do realize your list contains a lot of purals right?

I Was one of first people to reg some .one domaisn when they came out public round may 2015... the ones that were then at regular fee.. cause I'd not pay more for .one.. so I probably ended uip with few that would have by now been premium.. but cause I own them.. they renew regular price.

I have like 30 now.. whcih I intend to renew for a while.

my only sale so far was:
    dictionary .one...... $300
and meta .one offer of $500 which I declined.

imo you have not much to regret. because your names were not that great. however, I think you should regret a few of them. but really not many imo.

    but done is done.

check .one thread I created if u wanna. https://www.namepros.com/threads/one-showcase-discussion.890175/

to me you just got rid of a bunch of crappy names and even managed to recoup some of your costs. congrats.
and i agree with the buyer - i don't see even regfee value in any of the above.
no sarcasm. your portfolio just got better no matter what's left in there.

    imo

    thanks.
don't get your hopes too high on .one.. no one should.. including me, but as far as ngtlds go.. I've seen way worse..

but there were some nice things we could get back in 2015 when it opened..
virtualreality.one was sure one of them.

I though you will show a lot of singular doains.. cause you talked about their plural counterparts.. but turns out a lot of your thigns are plurals.. and .one with plurals is not great match.. minus some exceptions.... if you had all singulars of what you had.. now that'd be whole different story :)

all in all... to answer your op.. I would say you have nothing to very little, to regret, given the names you showcased. imo. cheers. gl.

You have made $12,000 in total , which seems okay but how much did you spend for the ones you have sold?

If the renewal price exceeds your profit potential you made the right decision. Personally I would not second guess myself and focus on my next acquisition.

You would have made couple of thousands $$$$ easily with those domains. May be more. They are all one word domains.

unfortunatley, it does not work like that at all with ngtlds... and most extensions...

but that's a real good way to think (one worders, of decent quality, which these were)... for .com... many .net.. and some .org ;)

    cheers

If it would have been .com, then one domain has priced in high XXXXXX . Cheers
    .
The keywords of his domains are very nice. IMO .. Cheers

yes true.. I didn't mean to put value on what one domain or few of them would have cost if they were .com.. I was just saying it was good way to think what you said with .com... many .net and some .org...... but when you go to just about any other extension than those.. especially new less known ones like .one.... then those dictionary word rules.... no longer apply... well... to a much lesser value at least... imo. cheers.
