Hi Npers,
I registered attorneyinmaine.com. What are your thoughts of this name? I have contacted legal end users in Maine, US but no reply or offer. What other means can I use in selling the name.

by choosing a specific state? you reduce the number of potential buyers? but you should be able to sell that domain name easily enough

i prefer to buy legal profession sectors in cctlds's

The plural would be better and also the other way around MaineAttorneys. As is you MAY get up to $100 but to a fresh out of law school guy. Just not that good

Google will read it both ways round in Google search results But you have the word in in the domain which i don't use in mine but the potential customer will type the word in in Google so you will have all of the three words for perfect type in traffic Google will just pick the words typed by the potential customer

My domains are like nattydomain suggested as i prefer the state or county first and trade or profession second word in the domain

as for plural etc i have singular in some domains and plural in others but singular would appear first in Google search results as the search results appear before the s for plural has been typed and the chances are that the potential customer has clicked on the word that drops down whilst typing your phrase as with predictive text etc a person doesn't need to type the whole word or phrase in to a search engine because the word they are trying to type has appeared before they have finished typing it

You could also buy a Maine. domain with a two letter gtld that begins with a? Eg ac? with the second letter lower than t in the alphabet which would appear first in an alphabetical index before any varnation of att etc
and everytime anyone types
Maine anything in Google search and the second word is higher than ac? Etc your domain should appear?
