I have a reseller account with one hosting service from two year now.
I have some twelve sites running there, most are mine and few of them are of my clients.

I found one of the site was down, from the day before, there was just an error page saying to contact the billing support department...

This site it is two years old and it is for a no profit initiative we put a lot of efforts in it and we have from 600 to 400 unique visitor month with thousand paged viewed, so we care a lot of it.

At the beginning I tought it was a server failure , then I have contacted the support and I get no answer for 9 hours or so, then I went in the cpanel and I found a couple of lines sayng that site was suspended because Hacked.

Well I contact again the support and I told them what I have found.
Many hours later I received a reply from them, they say that site was acked and the account deleted because the hackers used my site to spam and I have done nothing to avoid it....(the site is running a mambo cms one of the latest releases if not the last)

Wow , I get very susprised since I didn't noticed any strange activity on my site.

Well, that's no correct, I noted in the past I had a lot of spam of on email account of that site and I sent so many request to the support service, they always told me that everything was OK! (I even found their server was listed on a couple of spam list, I informed them because I don't want my site to be associate with any spam activity, and they even thanks me for that!)

I asked them to prove this spam activity and any other useful information to solve this issue or if I can change the cms, they answer to me that they will not allow me to have this account on their server anymore.

I don't know what to do.
Is there any way to check if they are tell me the truth?
Also, is there any relation between the cms and the email accounts? I can't figure it out, since the e-mail account are managed by the HORDE software.

Please can anyone understand what is going on?

I can't answer all of your questions, but it sounds like you might want to look for a new host. Did they at least keep your data for reenabling the account, or was it truly "deleted"?

After various emails to the support service they told me I can buid a new site, they asked me to delete the account and open a new one....Luckely a I have several backup from before the site was hacked and the Mambo support also told me that I can use one of these backup to reuse the database to build a site on the latest version...
That's really a good news, I was so upset and sad for this issue and especially for the bad response I had from the hosting support,because they let me think I couldn't not set up my site .... but now everything has been clarified, I can rebuild my site and I am happy again.
