Hello to all

Recently i found a domain listed on Sedo.
The asking price is 600 USD.The domain is PR1 and has about 120 links
It has also about 50 pages indexed on google. Now maybe 120 links sound
very little but after a search i done i found that almost all of them are in sites
highly related to the subject of the specific domain and many of these sites are very reputable.Seems that the owner made very good promotion.
The domain's subject is very profitable but with a lot of competition.
In your opinion do you think that is it worth the money?
Can a domain like this receive any traffic?I am considering to develop it further,
right now it is parked with Sedo.
Any opinions or thoughts are welcome!

Thanks in advance

Type the domain into www.Alexa.com it should have some kind of rank if it's getting traffic. With no rank, it's likely getting little to no traffic.

You can also do the same at www.Compete.com

Also to note, just because it has a price of $600 doesn't mean that the seller will sell at that price. It's a way of getting "Offers" if the domain is more valuable.

The best place to check backlinks is www.MarketLeap.com Most accurate I should say.

You can always use www.Whois.sc and contact the owner and ask for traffic stats for the domain.

Hope this was of some help. Feel free to PM me the domain, because I could help out better that way.

I checked the domain on Alexa. Its rank is 1,395,402.
It also shows that the majority of traffic comes from Thailand
and some little from Australia and Malaysia.Anyway i checked the domain in archive.org and used to be an english speaking site. And i heard that Alexa rankings can be manipulated. Thanks for the help and thanks for the tools you provided me.
I will PM you the domain

With No Rank in Compete and most of the 105 links mainly in about 5 places, which are blogs/forums, I would pass as I stated via PM. Feel free to confirm with another member if you would like as well, as I have been wrong before. ;)

I think compete.com shows details only for sites like google.com and above.
I'm kidding of course but i searched 2 other domains i have with PR3 and thousands of links who receive about 100 to 150 uniques each, and shows
"no data"
By the way what tool did you use to check the backlinks to the site?
