Well I Registered a Domain that has 8 Bids on sedo currently.
-The Domain has .com extension.
-No other extensions are taken for this name.
-Google Search Results for the exact keywords in quote are 4,220,000.

So,is there a possibility that these are real Bids ?
Also, if I list this Domain on Sedo will the previous Bids Still Remain and how much Time shall Sedo take to verify the Domain as Mine and get it listed in my Account.

Inputs very much appreciated.Thanks.:)

So the domain shows for sale on Sedo, but it was available and then you regged it?

Did you "register" the domain at Godaddy? It's likely it was NOT available but Godaddy's system allowed you to go through the process, but you will get an email later about a refund.

Also, if bids were on Pool.com, there is NO WAY those bids would go to Sedo. Two different companies.

You had me worried there, one of my domains on sedo has had 8 bids, I had to check the whois to make sure I did'nt drop it by mistake  Phew !

Its probably genuine, but remember that everytime somebody does a counter offer it shows as a new bid.

eg:

First offer > $60 .....as usual !

Owner replies with $500

Second offer > $300

This will show as 2 bids for the domain even though its the same person

I'm pretty sure the previous bids with be cancelled when you relist it, I bought one with 1 previous bid at sedo but when I relisted it in sedo the bid did'nt stay.

I registered the Domain at Name.com as it was an expired domain but it was previously listed on sedo and has 8 bids.
Pool && Godaddy are nowhere in the picture.:)

When you re-list with sedo and they confirm your ownership then the previous bids will be erased. It will only be showing on sedo at the moment because the previous owner has not de-listed it.

Just relist it with sedo, may take 2 or 3 days to show as yours - If its not done by then just email sedo and they will manually check ownership for you.

Not sure where I came up with Pool... lol sorry about that.

Here is what I have done to get a domain listed quickly on Sedo.

List one domain as you normally would.
After listing that one, quickly go back to domain management/Add domain
List another one.
Be sure to list these pretty quickly and click Each "continue" button they ask.

List one at a time.

I have been able to do this with up to 3 domains. The first two get listed right away, but the 3rd get's stuck.

The fastest way is to set the DNS to: ns1.sedoparking.com & ns2.sedoparking.com - It may take a couple of business days to resolve to your account as it is still listed in another account. Any longer and I usually fire off a quick email and it is in my account the next day.

It shall take atleast 2-3 days to get resolved as some members have already mentioned, just removed private whois and changed nameservers.now waiting for private whois change to get propogated before adding it to my sedo account.

Would surely give your tip a try Yofie.
