Hello Namepros
I've registered a domain name but it has a dot US extension. Its a one dictionary word with 60,000 Global monthly search and 22,000 Local monthly search. I have 3 questions about it.
My first question question is, do you think its a good idea to develop it even if it has a dot US extension. This website will be providing educational information for students and for anyone who is interested in the subject.
My second question is how do dot US extensions fair on SERP because I never seen a dot US on the first page of google or any search engine. If you ever find a website with a dot US ranking very well on any search engine please post them because I would like to check it out.
Last but not least, if you've already developed a website with a dot US extension kindly share your thoughts on their performance compare to a dot com, do net, & dot info.
All opinions are welcome and would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Smiler.
