Okay, here's the story:

Our satellite Internet connection has been progessively worse over the past 10 months.

Unfortunately, satellite Internet is generally NOT reliable.

It's the only high speed available to us. Don't ask why. Don't convince me to upgrade. Please don't even talk about it. I don't want to hear it.

Anyway, the transmission chip in the satellite's reciever arm is broken and needs replacing. I am lucky to be online but it took me 12 minutes to load up NamePros and get to this "Post Thread" page because TCP and Web accelerations were both inactive.

Repair guy is calling on Tuesday, maybe Monday if we're lucky; he'll be coming out maybe Wednesday or Friday at latest.

I could be gone for a week.

PolurNet: Yes I know I have that $7 bill due :p I can barely access NON-ssl sites, so https:// is out of the question (for payment) :td: - until this next week or the Internet is running again.

Don't expect anything from me much this week; I may be on but it will be very sparratic.

Thanks,
-Matt

3 days downtime for my isp and I can't stand it, :( how much more this long downtime and whats gonna happen to your online business? :IMHO:

i think during that downtime you may need to delegate some of the web stuff while you're gone to trusted friends and associates here, just a suggestion.

Aw thanks guys :)

Actually it's doing a little FASTER than before but I get at max 5 minutes of uptime each hour.

As for my websites, I think they'll last okay for now.

So yeah, thanks everyone ^_^
