I just want to sell a domain name no auctions . How can I do that.
Welcome to NP
Firstly, this is not an easy industry to make money in. You cant walk in, hand-register a name and sell it next week for $5,000, it doesn't work like that
First research and read this forum from top to bottom for a few months so you understand what makes a name valuable
Check out DNJournal.com and Namebio.com to see what type of names sell
Then check out expiring lists and email existing owners of decent names and buy 1 or 2 names
Make sure there are plenty of potential buyers before buying the name
Emailing potential buyers asking if they are interested in the name
Don't get greedy when starting out and sell for a reasonable price
Reinvest that profit into another name and then repeat the process.
Dont mix letters and numbers
Avoid long names and dont buy 3 word names
Stick to .COM domains
Avoid hyphens in domains
Avoid hand-registering names that are available, they are available for a reason
Good luck, hope that helps
have a great name
The better quality your name is and the higher the demand the more likely is that you will receive inquiries about it and eventually sell it without the use of auctions.
Have you ever experienced inbound inquiries?
you own a lot of domains or just got started?
You will need to keep educating yourself on how to buy quality names and start doing so in order to increase your chances of getting inbound inquiries.
Unless the website is online for 3 to 5 years, selling domain names in the worst idea.
Tell that to those 99c buyers selling at $25
Separate names with a comma.
