I get so tired of dealing with EnCirca on simple technical support issues that they could handle by fixing their broken user control mechanisms around URL redirection, DNS and name servers.

At EnCircal, whenever you move a domain name between accounts, or change nameservers away and back, it breaks all the DNS stuff badly so you can't manage it yourself, and then you have to make a support request and explain everything, and it is such a hassle. EnCirca - please fix your broken interfaces. This has been going on for years.

I'm currently developing one of my .PROs and need it to resolve, but more importantly I need to be able to administer the basic stuff myself. And Name.com has a very good user control panel. I figure, even though EnCirca is charging only $3.49 on new .PRO regs right now, they'll hammer me at renewal time with a $15 charge or something (which is what name.com charges fro new .PRO regs and renewals), so I don't really have anything to lose by moving my domain now.

But it's funny - when I initiated the transfer to name.com it asked me for the requiste registry.pro info about my professional license. And it the title was "Some domains are needier than others. Please enter... blah blah blah". I guess they're fed up with registry.pro too.
