I think that you should negotiate and then sell.

even if you manage to pull it up by $5 to $60, you feel much better :)

$55 is 3x reg fee, which isn't bad this early in the game.If you need the cash, go for it, but good 3-letter .IN have no where to go but up.I'd be very inclined to just keep it or counter-offer.If you've already had an offer this soon into the .IN release,it's probably worth more.

300+ % profit, sounds like good business to me, however if happy to hold ask for $100 and see what happens.

Like wot said, not a bad profit. Did you have any plans for it?

don't mess about. accept the offer and move on.

Say you have a pending offer of $90, if he can pay $100 within 24 hours the name is his. If the buyer backs off, say that your $90 deal was off, too, so the name is still available for $60 - $55 plus PayPal fees.
That's a very convinient way to negotiate.

Hi,

Selling for $55 would be a big profit in term of %, right.

But the question is : are you willing to earn $30 ?!

Personally, I would not sell any of my recent regs for $55 (I have plenty of old mistakes that I would be happy to sell for even less than $55).

Hope this will help.

Grégoire.

Congrats on the offer! Let's see here....
1) Don't lie in regards to other offers that you may or may not have received. (Despite any advice to the contrary ;) ).
2) JDK sounds like it would be common/popular letters in India, is that a good or bad assumption? If they are popular letters in a popular combination/format, I would hold onto them. If not, might as well take the $ and split!
3) Considering you registered this name only a few months ago, a 200% ROI is great! So there is no shame in selling a name for $55. You might try negotiating a touch higher, because typically a buyer will not bid his maximum price on his first offer.
Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out!

If it was me, I would counter with a slightly higher price probably around $25 or so higher. Then see what happens, really will depend on how much you want to make from the sale.

HOLD

What is $30 profit? Jeez...some people here are really desperate. I wouldn't sell for less than $500 if I was you. India is an immensely growing area and the population is HUGE. I would hold hold hold.

if you dont need the money.....hold

i was once offered 50$ for a domain that cost me reg fee 2 years back, i told the buyer i wasnt interested at selling at that price....a few months later, after some negotiations, they came back with XXXX$ ...done deal....of course sometimes u never hear back from people if you refuse an offer, so it all depends on if you want to make a quick ''small'' profit or risk getting nothing or more $...further down the line...

Any good reason why?

Personally I would hardly give any consideration a sale of any of my names for $55. How many names do you have? Were you out to make a quick buck, or quick $30 bucks? Are you willing to wait a few months, even years for a potentially much bigger sale? I'm not big on .in, but I believe that name has a lot more potential than $55.
