Network Solutions Certified Offer? Should i accept?
I just recieved a good offer thru Network Solutions Certified Offer service for one of my domain names. Would you accept it? I have heard a lot of bad things about NetSol and have not liked them in the past. Has anyone here sold a domain thru a Certified Offer and how did it go?
The funny thing is that on my domain i currently have it set up for sedo parking and it has the Sedo "For Sale" banner on it yet they made the offer thru NetSol. does that seem fishy?
Thanks in advance
Erin

I have no idea, but not everyone knows who Sedo is. So if it's a person or company whose dealt with NetSol in the past and has no idea who Sedo is, they may feel more comfortable using the services of a company they trust...

NetSol enjoys that name among non-domaners. I knew one of my friend regged a name with 1and1 for 18 bucks or so, he has no idea about Godaddy or any other.

I would trust the offer for sure.

most of the domain aftermarkets have a line that says "make an offer on any domain name" so the buyer may trust netsol therefore they contacted them asking how to get your domain name for them, certified offer is their way of providing you with the customers offer and many markets send these out this way including myself if trying to grab a domain for a client as looking up whois and contacting you direct saves the commission charge from the market it's listed at.

if it comes from a major company godaddy, sedo, netsol, etc... you should be fine, if it comes from joeblowdomains then be sure to use escrow.com or a similiar escrow service, good luck on the sale.
