Depends hugely on what exactly it is. I think the real value in these is pronounceability. Other factors involved include letter quality, google results, potential end users, keyword value etc.

If it's nice and easy to pronounce you'll need to be looking at a minimum of $2K. Much more depending on how nice it is.

Agree with David.

Some "good letters" like "C" see some very bad sales results when they're relatively unpronounceable in a CVCV.

Take a look at www.tdvr.com and www.namebio.com to see some past sales and get an idea. You can put in the specific pattern of cvcv to only bring up cvcv.com sales.

I tried namebio.com, but I didn't receive any results.

Moreover, is it true that the prices for CVCV.com's are dropping nowadays?

If you want to sell your CVCV.coms, then yes.
If you want to buy my CVCV.coms, then no. ;)

Honesly. Time will tell that.

Prices go up and down faster in the LLLL.com market than a roller coaster. Long term they'll only be going 1 direction though imho.

To get CVCV.com results from namebio.com do the following:

* Click on the "patterns" tab
* Enter cvcv into the pattern field
* Click on the "general" tab
* Choose .com from the TLD drop down menu
* Click on "search"

Let me know if you still can't get it to work. It can be a bit touchy sometimes.

Can't agree with you more, Sufyan.

I recently posted a thread to buy CVCV.com. Asking prices I have received are average 50% - 100% higher than those from Sedo, Snapnames or NJ. (Of course, there are still several great names worthy)

As you can see that most owners still has a strong believe on good CVCV.com. I don't see any price decline in term of this case.

Don't you have to pay comission at namebio and tdvr?

I tried to look at this forum and DF for great domains, but I didn't find any for under 2K.

Moreover, I tried to look at BQB.com, but I didn't find any there either. Although, maybe I could have looked better at that site (I'll do it now).

Commission for what? I don't get it.

I think both are an index of domain sales data. Not a domain marketplace.

Okay my bad.

Where is the best place to buy at the aftermarket then?

I saw the domain icax.com listed, how much is it worth?

Well. I afraid no one can really answer that question for you.
Most of us are still learning from experiences, no matter how good they are already. :red:

It worries me that you are planning to spend thousand(s) of dollars without basic knowledge of what you are buying. There are literally millions of possible choices in the domain market.

The people that make money here are those with knowledge. Read this forum thoroughly for months before you consider investing on that price level - and at that time prices will perhaps have found their bottom.

Now is the domain to purchase domains though. If you look at the market trends :). Although, I agree that I should do some more reading.
