Take it easy yeah.
I know you must be wondering how NameJet.com domain can be dropped.
But 10 people think it’s going to drop in future!
The interesting thing is these bids are at NameJet.com itself!
Simply visit this link and see by yourself ;)

I was going to type some other domain which I wanted to backorder but somehow typed NameJet and it made me laugh.
What on earth those people think this domain be dropping in their lifetime?
This made me curious to check some other top company names like Microsoft.com which has 11 bids with highest offering so far $99.
Business.com at $150 with 27 bids!

I got some more interesting one’s listed below:

IBM.com at $1,000 with 20 bids.
Name.com at $80 with 15 bids.
Sex.com at $1,000 with 54 bids.
Blue.com at $350 with 19 bids.
Air.com at $1,000 with 27 bids.
Dubai at $100 with only 15 bids.

Quite cheap starting bid yeah ;)

Although none of them will be dropping in any of our lives reading this post and surely not after that as well.
I wonder why people waste their time in placing their bids for such domains giving themselves false hope of getting top quality domains by playing waiting game.

Yeah I notice that in the past too ;)

sex.com has always had a little over 50 backorders. So it's stable.
I know because I was developing a script to place backorders, so I would use domains that were extremely unlikely to drop anytime soon.

So do you think any of those domains will ever be dropped! ?

100% or sold off as part of a bankruptcy etc.

Remember when vanity toll free numbers was all the rage? TONS of them ended up being purchased or transferred for nothing as companies went under etc

Passport.com dropped and that is owned by microsoft, was a mistake on their part.

And tons of domains registered by companies in the late 90's that raised tens of millions of dollars ended up dropping.

Will it drop tomorrow? No but the world is moving VERY quick. Just 10 years ago if someone would of told you that Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers, Circut City, Loemans, and 100's of other BILLION dollar companies in ALL categories with go belly up within 10 years youd laugh at them. Even 6 months before they went belly up few saw it coming.

Will they drop as in someone will forget to renew? Or will they drop as in they will have an issue or someone will buy them out and destroy something good, I dont know, BUT never say never truly holds true in this fast pace tech world, a world where 10 years ago people made fun of the fools who invested in stupid tech companies tens of billions of dollars to now all over again people are throwing huge money, more so than during the late 90's boom on anyone working on any dot com project, its sad and pathetic.

Doesn't make sense to me. Passport.com was forgotten but wasn't dropped nor it will be ever. Let's take Google.com which at NJ shows 23 bids with highest bid up to $2,200. These domains cannot be dropped ever.

The examples domains I provided cannot be dropped for sure in my or your life. I took some solid companies into view.
