Any logical reason this domain should have so many bids?

I was checking out auctions on godaddy, one of the ones at the top of the "most active" list is:

coastguardd5publicaffairs.com 27 bids 1868 C$142 C$418 $ 4D 20H

Seems like a worthless domain, yet has 27 bids, and is at $420 with almost 5 days left. Is there something I am missing, or is this collusion driving the price up in hopes that someone will get tempted to buy it?

So it's the previous work done, and backlinking that makes this valuable, not the name itself that makes it valuable.
