Domain Name Blacklisted - Would other domains be affected?

I'm a bit confused about a specific situation I have.

Let's say I have two domains abc.com and xyz.com

xyz.com uses ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com as its nameservers.

abc.com is blacklisted on the domain blacklists (it comes up in a search on multirbl.valli.org as being blacklisted)

1. Would xyz.com also be blacklisted if it uses the same IP as abc.com

2. Would xyz.com be blacklisted if it uses a different IP of its own but uses the abc nameservers?

Been really looking for answers on this but no luck :(

As far as I see from your link, the domain abc.com is in a spam blacklist. When there are spam violations the host blocks the IP address, not the actual domain. So coming to your questions:

1. If xyz.com and abc.com use the same IP address, then they would both fall into the blacklist
2. Analogically, if xyz.com is on a different IP it does not matter if it uses abc.com for nameservers, you will have no issues with it.

Hope that helps.
