I dunno how accurate that is. There are about 138 million .coms registered now.

Will they keep growing? 10% next? :xf.grin:

Well, they could be keeping some old records in that count, so it's probably overestimating it. But I don't know how there could be 3 or 4 million extra domains there.
Even if hugedomains' annual sell-through rate is 5%, that doesn't take very much away from 7 million.
They'd have to have dropped a ton of their domains?

maybe there's another reason why it;s miscounted. I don't know.


doubt they own any new TLD domains
they have some .net and org but probably negligible compared to the .coms

They often catch domains that where previously developed and drop them after few years if they don't sell.

oh yeah. a long time ago, I used their API for someone else's domains and noticed that, but I forgot.
