I would rather have Chicago.info. NewYork.info sold for $70,000 and SanFrancisco.us sold for $6,000. Even adjusting for the difference in keyword punching power, a geo .info is worth more than a geo .us.
The market for a .info is 20 times bigger than the market for a .us. .info fits more keywords than a .us, the US is more .com centric than any other market which makes life difficult for the country code, historically there have been 2-3 times more .info sales over $10,000 than .us sales, there have been 30 .info sales reported in Feb 09 so far compared to 4 .us sales.
