Today the CEO of Namecheap announced a suit against ICANN. You can read petition details here. It is long, but as I understand it, it is over ICANN not following a mediation review panel recommendation that ruled in Namecheap favour that the cap on price increases for the .org, .info and .biz extensions should not have been removed. That is Namecheap are, on behalf of domain users, trying to get the cap on price increase put back on for these TLDs.

It's hard to argue that unlimited price caps, especially for legacy extensions that predate the new gTLD program, are in the best interest of registrants.

They are really only in the interest of one stakeholder, the registry itself.
