I received the message below a few hours ago in my email. I would have guessed it is appraisal scam but this one looks very brief to be categorized as such. Also note that he mentioned that my email was found via whois.

I find it odd that he claimed to be representing a buyer but in same breathe he requested for list of other domains I might have to help me get buyer for them.

The email came in through a custom domain name and he claimed to be VP of a hosting company. I checked the URL and it forward to a hosting company but when I check the URL for the email via whois search, it is at Godaddy, date: 2017-11-07, but the hosting company where the URL forward to is aged and most of the words in the whois are in Korean

Has anyone received something like this before?

I don't fill right about this kind of email but I will reply it and see where it will lead to.

These people sit behind their PC watching DailyChange.com for transfers and new reg. The domain name in question was recently, not up to a week, won at Godaddy auctions.

Yep, I'm voting SCAM on this one as well!

Any time they start out asking, "If you have more names please email me the list", it's rarely going to be legit.

Tell them to buy the domain and then keep 50% of the money after sale. At least that's how Brand bucket do with their logo fee
