How to transfer domains in obscure cctld's?

Hello,

I am thinking of registering a domain name in an obscure tld that has some restrictions. But I am thinking to register it in order to resell it, but the registration policy of that particular cctld states that only they will only modify administrative and technical contact of the domain.
Is this ok? Will I be able to resell that domain name? And how will I manage to transfer? Please help me, it is an urgent matter.

PS: I see on sedo some domains listed for sale that have restrictions when it comes to transfer them ( like .ps - Palestine, or .fo - Feroe Islands that can be registered only by residents).

Without mentioning the actual domain name can you give the extension and then we can advise.

Some ccTLD's are very easy to transfer, some not, and of course some cannot be transfered at all.

If you would rather not make it public feel free to PM me and I will let you know the current situation with regard to that particular registry.

This morning, I phoned to the registry, and they told me that domain names can be transferred.
And I did not mentioned the domain name as it was a casino.cctld drop, that I spotted since January. And yes, I will have a casino.cctld
Since the poker is also available, if you are interested in purchasing it I can give you the extension in priv, I do not have today the entire money to pay for it too.
I do not know actually, should I register the poker.xx too?

Again, it completely depends on the extension and what the registration fee is as some extensions have very high fees. You should have given the extension and give clues to the keyword. If you want, you can send via PM to someone to advise privately. But generally casino.xx and poker.xx are not too tough to flip.

hehe sam, you are always very informed. I will bother for the casino... I mean I will register it.. and develop it into a casino review site.
I know it is much for a domain name, but it is my bet.
Las months poker.pr sold here for $1500 I think, and the .pr registration is 1000$.
Anyway I see your point, but I go ahead and register it.

My point is really simple. I have noticed a lack of poker.** and casino.** sales. Thus it might be costly to continue renewing these domains

That is funny, cause I read those threads before, but I did not remembered viewing them.
I saw fewer casino sales in the last months or so too, but I will try to develop it, and for me it surely is a fair price.
Casino.rw may stand for casino review, but I know there will be a hard work with it.
Thanks for your advice, btw if anybody is interested poker.rw may be registered for 225 euros at nic.rw.
