Hey there NamePros members.

I have bought my share of .com's, .net's, .org's, .tv's, and .info's but I dont believe I have owned any other domains...

I recently found a domain that I need.
It is available in a few different cctld's
.gr - Greece
.pl - Poland
.hk - Hong Kong
.ie - Ireland

I really want to register these.

1) Are there any restrictions on registering any of these 4 cctld's since I am a US citizen?

2) Does anyone who is familiar with these tld's know what the cheapest registrar is for any of these 4 cctld's?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The first three are open to all so you should have no problem registering.
.ie is very restrictive, you need to be a resident of Ireland, a company in Ireland or a valid Irish/EU trademark to register a .ie.

You can register all the extensions at EuroDNS, but if you shop around and use local registrars you will save yourself some cash. I've not used them, but have seen others recommend az.pl for .pl names.

So, Ireland is off limits, huh???
Ok, well I can do the other 3 and that will make me very happy, :)

I will definitely check out eurodns' prices for all cctld's AND definitely az.pl for the Poland cctld!

Hmmm...I just checked out the az.pl and it is completely written in Polish.
Rejestracja domeny w AZ.PL. Domeny internetowe. Wybรƒยณr domeny.
I wonder if there is a way to have that translated into English?
because I dont understand any of it...lol

It's no problem!

If you do use EuroDNS- don't forget to check for codes first.

And some other members may have better suggestions, particulary for .hk, so don't rush in and buy too quick!
