Hi all,
I don't know whether this is the right forum, but ....
I'm trying to automate my drop catching, which I do at Moniker. My rep there sent me some documentation about a "Reseller API". While I know what API stands for, the rest of it is Greek to me.
From the introduction to its documentation:
"Moniker Online’s SECURE URL Interface allows clients to check domain availability, register domains and perform other functions from their own systems. This document will describe how to interface programmatically. The server side of this protocol is a Java Servlet running through a secure layer on a Tomcat Servlet Container."
Then it lists the syntaxes for making many types of requests (domain availability, registration, etc.).
This sounds like what I need, but since I've done very little programming since 1979 (Commodore PET, 8K of Basic
), I have no idea how to implement this. Do I just need a little advice? Do I need someone to write an interface for me? Do I need to find an easier way to make a living?
Sorry to be such an ignoramus. Thanks in advance for any insights.
