Noticed this today while playing with the GD OTE API...
GoDaddy is also HIDING recent auction sales data from the Production API (effectively, the Appraisals web tool, because that's where the Appraisal tool fetches data from). Shady???
For example, Eign .com was bought @ GD auctions for $XXX this year
Make an api call to /v1/appraisal and its missing from https://api.godaddy.com/v1/appraisal/eign.com => on the appraisal web interface this is missing
But,
if you make an API call to the OTE environment, https://api.ote-godaddy.com/v1/appraisal/eign.com, it reveals eign .com's past auction sales data, which is returned in the response
Furthermore, found something related to @equity78's post on GD valuation change, the valuation on the OTE API is the same as it was when GD introduced a short-term change to it's Appraisals API. What could possibly be GoDaddy's motivation behind this, to intentionally hide auction sales data?
Interesting? Could it be a good trick to extract/reveal GoDaddy auction sales data?
