How to monetize from typos

Hi folks
I'm confused on monetizations from typos.
Is the cpc of typo domains bound to be low? Is it possible for typo domains at high cpc? how to make the most profit from typo domains?

typo domains can have a high cpc, if they are insurance related for example

what if the typo domain is off a generic search phrase like newyorkmortgage.com but that domain is owned and used by a large mortgage company. Could you have trademark issues with that?

Anyone can pay the fee to file for a UDRP. When it comes to generic keywords like New York Mortgage, one company cannot have a monopoly on all the mortgages in New York, therefore it would be difficult for them to get a TM on that term. Generally speaking, typo's of generic terms are acceptable.

The problem is domains which are registered solely to steal or divert traffic, like typo's of G00gle, or Facebook. These are true cybersquatter domains.
