Easy question from newbie

Tell me one thing. How can u make money from typos? I have been reading over and over again typos= money, but how??

I know as far, that you generate traffic on typo domains (means high rank traffic domain spelled wrong) which is perfectly understandable. But what is the next step? How do u convert this traffic to money?

Let's suppose I have a typo domain which generate 100 unique visitors per day. Well...What shall I do with these visitors? Shall I re-direct them somewhere or sth?

I know it's sth to do with parking domains ( which I don't know ANYTHING about) or PPC (pay per click) (which isn't too familiar to me either)

Please, I beg u , explain me fully!

Yes, as said above you could have PPC ads on your parked domain which generate money. You could also forward the visitors to other established sites you own. Do you mind sharing the typo domains that you own?

You need to park your domains to start displaying ads on them. For this, you first need to apply to some parking companies with a list of 10-15 good domain names. However, if you own premium domains like loans.com, 1 domain may be enough to get an approval. Some easy domain parking companies to get accepted into are Sedo & Namedrive.

Once you get approved, change your nameservers to those specified by your parking company. For this, you need to make nameserver entries on your domain control panel at your registrar ( wherever you bought your domains from). Once you change your nameservers, your domain should propagate to the domain parking company's nameservers in 3 minutes to 48 hours depending on who your registrar is.

Once your domains propagate or even before that, add a relevant keyword to your domain. For example, if your domain reads cheapcars dot com... you could try a keyword like cheap cars. This should help your page show relevant ads to visitors. You can also change your page templates ( page design/colors) for better conversions.

100 uniques a day...

IF and I mean if you can find a typo that generates 100 uniques a day (and you hand reg it-$6.99 or whatever) you should be able to make some decent money once its parked. Depending on the niche (ie what ads appear for the domain) you could end up making some VERY nice cash. One example would be a typo on a dating site. Those ads can pay well. Assume only a few people will click per day but it adds up by the end of the month.

Problem is finding those 100 uniques a day typos.
