just park your domain at some where like sedo, you can then make money that way but possible only a small amount if any, it all depends on how many people go on your domain name

Yes, domain parking is always the recommended way.

You will need traffic first though, so only if:
- it has been a popular site before and links still link to it
- it is a typo
- it is a generic word (such as beef) and a .com (beef.com)
:)

Try Trafficclub.com, to maximise revenue.

Even if with a non popular site, with parking you can get at least the reg fee within the next 12 months

Read what deadmoon has said above. If it has no type-in potential or back links, you will earn zip from it. On a more positive note, you could possibly divulge the domain name here and get much more feedback as to how to monetise it. Basically, what you have asked is "how long is a piece of string?".

Park it at a parking program by the DNS of the domain.
( this way you can point your domain without hosting to a ppc program )

when you have done that try to see what kind of traffic comes in.
- what are people searching for
- where does the traffic come from etc...

then test your domains at different programs and see where it
performs the best.

It normally takes a few months before you a through this complete process
but, it does provide you with the best possible income for that domain name.

Goodluck!
