Hello,

I've tried many methods to list my domains on Dynadot as external listings with no success.

I use Afternic name servers for my domains, and I use TXT record to verify my domains on any platform that supports external listing, however, after I verify any domain on Dynadot via txt record, then change to Afternic name servers to set my landing page, the domain goes back to the "Unverified" status!

Dynadot is the only platform that has this issue on their system and I don't want to use any name servers other than Afternic.

Any solutions or ideas for that problem?

  • Make sure the verification code stays on the domain, even after the initial verification is complete. If our system can't detect the code, your domain status will change to "Unverified" and any associated listings will be removed.

Dynadot is an Afternic partner, and your BIN priced domains will appear for purchase in Dynadot reg path.

I actually did that, and after a very long conversation they said the following:

"I am afraid we do not support what you mentioned. You must make sure the verification code stays on the domain, even after the initial verification is complete. If our system can't detect the code, your domain status will change to "Unverified" and any associated listings will be removed."

My question is:
How do I maintain the verified status using txt record while using Afternic name servers? Is there any way for achieving that?

If there is no way to do so on DD, that means that their system leaves no way other than using their own name servers and of course I don't want that.

Notes:
  • This problem only happens with Dynadot.
  • For example, Spaceship offers external listing as well, all you've to do is verify your domains once via txt records then change name servers to whatever you like and your listing stays active no matter what!
So, any ideas or it is what it is?

So basically, if you want to use Afternic nameservers, you can’t list any third-party domains ( as verified ) in Dynadot’s open market.

If the domain is registered at Dynadot, you can list it in the Dynadot open marketplace, and you can also use Afternic name servers.
