How to increase domain value?

I have some domains and how to increase their value?

I also have this dilema.

What are we talking here, blogs? Affiliate sites? Ebooks?

Say I owned Paleodiet.com. Now, that name it's self is worth money, but what if it wasn't a sought after name, what would be the best and cheapest way to develop it in to something (so it is not still living at Godaddy's landing page)

Amazon affiliate?

Any help with this would be great, as I have too many domains not being utilised, and my "best domain ever" brain is only managing to sell about 3 a year, so bang goes that retirement plan!

Websites don't increase a domain's value.

If you turn dvd-online-deal-stores.org into a money-making website, the domain name is still worthless. Only the website has worth.

The only way to actually have domain values increase is with time. But yeah, there is nothing you can do to increase the domains value yourself.

Great point on mentioning the difference of both the value in a domain and the website.
