Traffic is mainly from type in and backlinks. Most parking services have TOS that don't allow "driving" traffic to parked pages.

so, the domain parking services mostly used for old domains? coz i don't think new domains will have type in traffic and backlinks.

Parked pages work best only with names that receive a hefty amount of natural type in traffic. But even absolute premium names have plummeted in traffic and parking earnings over the last couple years; big time domainers are seeing huge drops in parking income, and that's why alternatives, like large scale minisite development a.k.a. Epik.com and other development possibilities, are being desperately sought.

And as stated above, parking companies' Terms Of Service state that you are not allowed to drive traffic to parked pages in any way. If you want to drive traffic there, you'll have to dev in at least some minimal way, like a minisite.

Take the domain off parking, develop it, drive traffic to it, then park it again, is the only way to do this. But you'll probably find that the developed domain gives you more revenue than parking.
