How domain parking works

I need some guidance about, how domain parking works

Like we add a domain to any domain-parking provider and then set proper keywords, meta tags etc using any good keyword tool.

After that, how domain getting traffic, without submitting domains in to search engines, even I have noticed that my newly registered domain getting traffics & clicks on same day/next day itself, but same time some keyword domains I’m holding more than one year not getting any traffic.

From where these newly registered domain getting traffic, even after domain name is either an LLLL/LLLLL/non relevant keyword.

What a domainer can do to increase traffic.

I'd love to know too! A real basic question for newbies. do people submit their 'parked' (i.e. no content) domains to search engines and directories? and other such basic mysteries...

you park domains with existing type in traffic to it already if not develop it first either by way of forum or a blog but once you decide to park it, you're not allowed to drive or pump traffic to it anymore

So once you park it, it has to stay parked?
I regged domains and have put most of them parking while I develop content.
Does this mean after I add content and have it up that I will never again be able to park the domains?

i didn't know that at all - no rule books given out at parking boot camp!
i'm putting things back and forward between blogs, minisites, and parking, just to get a handle on where things fit...i wonder if anyone's going to complain?

You can park it, but if you park it you cannot send traffic to it by blogs or arbitrage or any other way.

If the name is parked and you do not want it parked any more you can stop parking it and develope it.

Weblord did not say once you park it you have to keep it parked.

I think you are starting from the wrong place. First, you should try to get a domain with traffic (type-in, typo, expired with traffic).

Then park and use some techniques to drive more traffic to it.

Thanks Guys, normally I have found the suggestion of developing domains into mini sites and once domain start gets traffic move them again back to parking.

Question here is, one already spent money & time to convert a domain into mini sites, after getting traffic, why can’t he use adsense & other affiliate links to earn more instead putting back to parking?

Second, one holding big domain profilo, keep expanding with more and more LLLL/LLLLL/LLLLL is it easy to develop each domain or bring traffic to each and every domain?

Then park and use some techniques to drive more traffic to it.

Can you share, what all are those to trick bring extra traffic to domains?
