Hi everyone,

For the very first time (as i'm a beginner), 2 people are interested in 4 of my domain names (they all have the same meaning-wording) .. I was negociating with one then the week after a second one, asked me for the same domains ... !!

Youhou ... !!!

As i didn't know how to fix a price, i've used SEDO(.com) to "evaluate" the price for each of them.... It gave me 359 $ for each, which is great (as i got them for almost nothing)...

However, as i just got these domains (at the very beginning of december), i cannot proceed to the transfer (i have to wait for 60 days)... The question is what do I do ? How do i keep them involve in the transaction according to the fact that I got 2 more offers (from each of them) with superior amounts than expected... It's going so fast that I really don't know how to deal with it...

Need your help on that ...

And also, as it is currently negociated by email, what is the best escrow website to officialize the transfer/transaction ?

Thank you for your help

You can use "Internal Transfer / Account Transfer" aka "Domain Push" .

For example If you have domains with godaddy you can tranfer to another godaddy account (Usually you have to wait 5Days for Godaddy Push)

And for escrow.... Escrow.com is the best option

The obvious advice I can give you - if they ask for domain appraisal - RUN, this is a scam.

Actually when I read your post for the second time I am ready to bet some $ that it is a scam.

Be careful

Well, the reason why i got these offers, it's maily because I said to the first one that someone else was asking for the domains, so he said that he was willing to offfer more to get them ... I told it to the second one, and he made another offer ... Does it look like a scam ?

Don't be disappointed ! It happens to all of us. I remember that 5-6 years ago i was so enthusiastic that someone actually want to buy my domain. And even asks for my portfolio to choose more domains.

Second advice - don't trust SEDO evaluations. Don't trust any automatic evaluations.

Third advice - you can sell domain even the next minute after you register the domain. You don't need to wait for 60 days.

And last - go through the wise namepros threads. It will help you understand what kind of domains to register and buy.

If it means anything I been doing this since 2006 and got the same emails back then and even today. Going strong as if you were never to register here you may have paid for a BS appraisal and lost money for nothing. Now you know.

Yes ...Now i know ... But "Sofiapartner", about the 60 days ... I don't get you ... ! Because it's clearly notified on Godaddy (for example) when you buy a domain name that you can't transfer it before 60 days... ! Anyway, you need a code (provided by your registrar) to process the transfer... Am i wrong ?

You cannot transfer away from GoDaddy but you can push the domains to another GoDaddy account without any problems. Since most buyers are happy with GoDaddy as a registrar, you should be able to proceed with any sale without any problems. Just tell any buyer that you can only push the domain to their GoDaddy account.

OK STUB... But how does it work ? What do i have to do to "push" a domain from Godaddy to another Godaddy account ? Thanks

If your price is high, you can use a escrow to exchange.
