i am very new to the domain selling business.I have few domains registered with rackshack (ev1servers).I registered with them because they were the cheapest.
Now when i ultimately get my domains sold, how do i transfer the ownership of the domain? Do they charge anything for the transfer of ownership?
Does any other company offer domain registeration with registeration rates as competitive as rachshck's with free domain transfers (transfer of ownership)
thanx all

Rackshack definately has the best prices going for .com/.net/.org/.info right now. Change of ownership is free, and pretty easy to do. Just click on 'Profile' when you are logged in and you'll see the option to change ownership.

 As soon as I read 'quick to click' I suddenly thought of the domain name! Pity it's already taken! :(

Hi Timothy! This is the step by step instructions on how to transfer your Rackshack.net domain to another person!

To transfer a domain name to another person means to transfer the ownership of that particular domain name to another individual. This may be the result of a monetary transaction or personal reason.

1. Go to http://www.rackshack.net
2. On the left side of the page, click on Manage EV1Servers Domains
3. Fill in the domain name, the username, and the password of the domain name you have previously registered with Rackshack (That is, the domain name you would like to initate the transfer)
4. Click on Manage Domain
5. Once arrived in the main management page, click on Profile on the left side of the page
6. Scroll down the page and click on Change Ownership of Domain
7. If the party in which you are interested in transferring the domain to does not already have a rackshack.net domain name account, then fill in the username and password for them (This will create a new rackshack.net domain name account for them). Click on Change Owner to proceed with the change.
8. Send the domain name, the rackshack.net domain name username and password you have just entered to the new owner

Voila! The domain name should now be accessible by the new owner!

If I have made a mistake anywhere in this instruction, please do let me know!!

Hewo evweybody!

I've heard about rackshack being the cheapest. I'm actually considering buying my very first domain from them.

Question: when registering with them, who'll be the registrant, me or them? And from anyone's experience w/ them, are all domain changes free?

Just asking before taking the leap!
