Sedo Auction

How do the domains get into the auction mode? Is it because of the following

- Featured Domains

- Emailing prospective buyers and notifying them of the domains listed on Sedo

- Keywords

I am specifically referring to the .De domains which have been SOLD, to replicate the same on to my domains.

Opinions are welcome.

sedo auctions

You can push your domain to auction after an offer from a buyer (you have nothing to loose except an extra week of waiting for your payment. I have also been told about talking to a domian broker and they can "push" your domains to auction without a bid but they have to be quality and they get to pick what words they want (so I am told). I have drpagerank.com right now in auction and last week I sold in sedo auction -so I have had some good results...

e-gig.com
360harley.com
harley360.com

I do not know who sets the starting price though when a broker "pushes" your domain into auction. Does anyone know?

That cleared a little doubt. :)

You can submit your names to their brokers, who pick the best names to send to auction (usually generic .com with traffic/rev), or, as stated above, you can send to auction after an offer has been made.

Ok, but that isn't free.

This brings me to the next doubt, those .de names sold are not always generic. Still they are sold.

Only once you have excepted the offer can you push it to auction, if it does'nt get anymore bids it will be sold at the pre-agreed price to the person who first made the offer.
(thats assuming you have'nt peed him off by sending to auction once you have agreed on a price)

you cannot just send it to auction without first accepting an offer apart from contacting sedo as described above (premium names)

domaín.com -with í- is on auction right now. When I first saw this domain it had no bids at all. Are the sedo brokers helping the scammers? How did this domain come to auction at first place if it didn't get any offers? Who is behind this scam?

fìx.com -with ì- is on auction for 3100 usd right now.

I think those 2 would be considered premium domains. If I am not mistaken, it looks a normal letter to the naked eye.
How did this domain come to auction at first place if it didn't get any offers?
