I doubt anyone here will tell you how to generate that kind of income. If people knew how to, then NP members would be millionaires / billionaires.

You can make it, but be patient. Suggest, you read, read and read some more about domaining before spending your cash. It is not a get rich quick scheme. Manage your expectations, it takes time to generate that kind of income. I admire your enthusiasm, but remember that the vast majority of domain investors either make only a slight amount (or even lose a bit). Yes, a few are regularly successful, but in most cases they have a lot of experience, do extensive research, and have other advantages. On average a .com domain name (based on all for sale, individual stats vary) has probably no more than about 1 chance in 100 of selling in any one year. Domain investing can be rewarding, sometimes very much so, but it is not assured, easy or fast.

Without saying what domains to buy, why buy certain domains, and all the rest.
Just tell people who want to make money in domains to just forget about buying and selling for at least 6 months.
Spending that time reading all about the domain industry.
Reading domain blogs, and domain forums....

Got 200 Bucks?
Put it into a bank, and get a job(if you do not have one now).
Save all you can in that bank.
And maybe, just maybe, in 6 months you may have learned enough to actually start buying and selling domains and make money doing so.
That would make you one of the small % who do so.

as beginners advice for you, also do not make the habit of trying to sell domains on np that you do not own... and that are pending auction bidding on another site (gd). this can get your np account into serious problems if someone agrees to buy from you here, and then you are unable to deliver the domain because you never owned the domain to begin with, and it ended at auction 5 times higher than you offered it for.

I tried doing a course on Udemy on domain investing, but quickly realised it was pretty useless! thats after I wasted some money buying up a whole lot of dumb domain names (cheaply). Thankfully, I was allowed to return quite a few. I have some I think are ok, but decided to do some blogging with them, then sell sometime down the track, including moonandtides.com, ourfelinefriends.com, mycryptomania.com, soulhearth.com. I won't make a fortune, but with some time and effort could use them for affiliate marketing. Also go some original brand names like stagmax.com (great name for a drink marketed for males) batty bumblebees.com (kids) menopax (menopause drug)
anyhow, I am having fun but keeping my day job and learning how to write for the web and do ecommerce!
Quickly learnt that there is no quick money to be earned domain investing!

Exactly. If you aim to marry the girl in 2021 for example, and you want to make money with domains to fund the wedding, then that gives you 1-2 years to make your domain money.

But as Els Hunt said, it takes time to learn the game of domain selling, and
you might not even make $200 in your domain portfolio within them 1-2 years.
