How to block direct advertisors at DS?

Could somebody tell me how to switch off direct advertisers at domainsponsor?
Yesterday I visited my mesothelioma typo and I was redirected to msg that I have won an ipod. Today I checked online college domains and again I was fwd to ipod.The domains are not blocked or anything, on voodoo they worked just fine with ads as they should. Any idea how to resolve this? or some people with similar experiences? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

You don't get that option. You are on a 3rd tier advertising provider. Basically here is how it works

1. Google = Tier 1
2. Yahoo = Tier 2
3. Direct Ads = Tier 3


SO basically what has happened is Google has most likely banned your domain name for some reason. Yahoo has done similar or D.S. has determined that you will make more money by having it set on Tier 3.

You do not have a choice in this, it is up to the parking companies.


Also, regarding the mesothelioma typo, you are going to draw some heat for that since it's a high paying keyword. So, if you have questions I would recommend you talk with someone form D.S.and get their advice.

just click "edit domain" settings


also, what YOU see when you type-in your name, may NOT be what others see when they visit.

Just got the message from account manager. she will switch off all the direct advertisers on online college degree, car insurance and mesothelioma typos. The domains were not blocked, just the system was (Thinking) I could earn more that way, like 0.003 UD per visit

I emailed Sedo among others and they will shut zero click ads off for your account which is what I prefer as my goal is domain sales which will never happen on zero click as they never see the for sales link. I would suggest anyone looking for actual domain sales instead of parking income do the same.

Just got first 59 USD click on DS, I am so glad Christine took some time to optimize them and switched the direct advertisers off

How did you reach your Account Manager?

I've tried emailing my AM and Dsp support. I even tried replying to the sales email asking me to move over my portfolio but I haven't got one response when I asked them to turn off Zero-Click.

I am lucky, that Christine was the one who invited me to DS. Otherwise I would not have contact of my account manager. Ive decided to put my car donation domains over there. They only count valid clicks, at Voodoo, I have experienced clawbacks at the end of the month, so I rather take a little less but sure.
I advise you to write them and ask what is the contact email of your account manager.I am very satisfied with mine, Good luck!
