How to approach end users

what is the best way to approach end users to buy a domain. (rather than waiting for someone to offer $ for the domain)

i got one .com which got .net, .info, .biz, .pl all developed and big companies as well. and some more big company sites with the keyword in the domain name. i tried writing to the owners of few extentions but didnt got any response. but i have seen increased hits on the sedo listing that day (that means they have checked my email and gone though)

is there any good format, things to put in the email. fixed price or say highest offer received within 2 weeks, or offers above $$,,,
