Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how our reputation works.
There's no range choices when you add rep for someone, but I got different scores from different people.
It seems if the people who added my rep have higher rep themselves will generate more rep for me?

And some lines have grey icons ahead some have green ones ahead.
Does the grey one mean he disapproved me?

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

They grey ones mean that the user either has very low rep themselves or they are a new member - rep from new members isnt counted to prevent cheating.

A negative feedback score looks like this: http://www.namepros.com/images/reputation/reputation_neg.gif

I think that the more rep + posts + length of membership depends on the # of points you receive.

Hope this helps ;)

Gray means that they do not have enough reputation power to add to a reputation. If it were a negative comment, the reputation square should show red.

You got it. Repuation power varies from member to member. ;)

EDIT: Dang, rmwebs. You are quick!
