If I owned a state abbreviation like, CA.com for California, or PA.com for Pennsylvania how much could I expect to generate each month in PPC income based on having:

- average traffic for a parked name like this, and
- a portal page set up and aimed at the State to maximise revenue

I know this is hard to predict based on the variables involved but please have a think about the following:

- expected traffic (average 300 OVT with ext, PR 3)
- expected CTR
- expected cost per click.

Also, does anyone know of a template for PPC suited to US States?

just because you own a 2 letter domain doesn't mean your ppc is just going to increase. You still have to develope the site, and bring traffic your click through amount will only increase if you can bring more traffic to your site.

If you have a 2 letter domain and your website is about nothing, then you won't get much results. You need to read more about why having a shorter domain name is better than a longer one.

Don't think I do. But if so, please provide a link to help me out.

My question was regarding CTR and CPC of State related links.
And, yes, I do think a 2 letter domain would attract more traffic based on my research of OVT, PR, experience of domains and statistics of entering fewer letters.
