How much % does keyword set manually Influence kind of ADS

Hello Friends.
What do you think about the Manual Keyword option.
We have Many Parking Company allowing us to set a Manual Keyword and same Time warning or recommending to Keep the Keyword Auto.

So the question arises are.
Does the manual keyword is required in realtime, in which scenario does the setting a manual keyword becomes mandatory or Recommended.
Does Just by setting a keyword make the parked page to show keyword relevant Ad's. How Much % does manual keyword influence the Ad's shown in Parked Page.

Considering the fact AD's displayed on the parked page depends on Domain name and user previous browsing history or habits, country, Traffic region etc.
So what are you thought on Manual Keyword Influence on AD's

Thank You. !!!

In most of the cases, simply leave it auto :) Google recognize the appropriate keywords. If you force the RIGHT keywords in the very beginning BUT Google does not recognize them as "Fitting" your domain asset have a chance to get GB.

Most parking companies now have a Google feed. Google uses it's own keywords 99% of the time. So using the manual keyword setting has little effect on the keywords, unless the keywords Google is using are incorrect and you ask your parking company to ask Google for reconsideration, and they agree to change the keywords for your domain.

Yes Agree with you. As domain when tested with or without keyword looks the same way. Generally i think during registration of typo of some websites google takes few weeks to learn and to show ads related to the original website of which this domain is a typo until then it shows some alien ads.lol

Thank You for your useful comments.

I notice a big difference with domainsponsor, I have a lawyer related domain with the word "bar" on the domain, kept getting drink and food related ads until I place some lawyer related keywords.

On DS can you place manual Keywords. I guess we can only block irrelevant keyword.

Yes happens many time with me also but it get optimized after a month or few weeks. generally when domain name have two different meaning words.

what was the status of this domain on other parking sites. does it required a keyword their also ?

@zaki.ahmed I also had to make manual entry. I don't blame parking companies since I know English is such a complex language.

Imagine teaching your algo to consider homophone(words that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning.) example: tire( wheels) and tire(fatigue).

Nice question.
I park my domains with IT/DNS but there is no option to enter keywords manually. There is only one way to optimize manually by keeping the category specific but that hasn't worked for me at all.
So I have always added my domains with them and leave as it is. It works most of the time.

Setting a keyword obviously helps/quickens optimization if you are 100% sure what the visitors are looking for. If it's a tricky domain that could have different meanings you are better off leaving it alone as there is no better optimization then actual users searching for what they are looking for and having the page slowly change into their search queries like Domain Sponsor etc...

Bodis no keyword option
Rook no keyword option
Parking crew no keyword option
sedo yes
voodoo yes
trafficz yes

it would seem that keyword optimization would do wonders but my experience is that the ads don't show based on what the domainer thinks should be displayed.
Sometimes they will show a search portal /directory lander so you are forced to use the automatic keyword.
A lot of time wasted selecting keywords with limited results IMHO at least for the platforms above.
voodoo seems to do the best tailoring results to requested keyword
The automatic keyword and lander trend seems to be gaining in the industry
